Royal Oak for YG Rolex Sub - sunburst?

What do you guys think?

I am considering trading my 15400 for a YG sub w sunburst dial...

I don't wear it much but when I do, I absolutely love the dial and bracelet. On the other hand, I love the look of blue and gold...

What say you?

Obviously I'm a big AP fan but have to go with my avatar on this one mate, the blue dial in the sun is just so sweet!

Tough choice, only because of the AP RO bracelet. But if it isn't getting worn, it's time to go.

Def not a straight trade - my RO + $$.

The only thing holding me back is the sheer beauty of the RO.

Another option is to trade up for a ROC on bracelet. That would have to wait a bit due to some priorities.

It's the ultimate #$%^ off watch . A solid gold dive watch . I love it . The only thing is that it weighs 2x as much as your RO so try it on first and see if your comfortable with all the weight

If you are sure that you can carry gold off on your wrist then do it. That's the only area I would question.

If it was me, I would wait for an all gold RO or ROC.

I wouldn't do it in a million years. I like your other option (trade up to ROC on bracelet) much much better.

I had also looked at getting a blue dial sunburst (but in TT) but after trying it on a few times, I ultimately decided to pass.

I'd probably try it again at some point as it does seem like a nice looking watch.

Significant price difference, like my 15400 but see the appeal of YG Sub..... I see nothing wrong with the plan if you are not wearing the AP much.
