Size question

I bought a 34 mm blue AirKing for my wife for her birthday on April 24th. It's a little bigger than I would have probably picked for her, but the watch is beautiful and the deal was unbeatable.....It's been there for a couple of years and they are selling it for 30% off of the MSRP of $5,050. Any thoughts on the 34 mm size for women? I would love to wear it myself, but it looked just a hair too small for me. If it was 36 mm I'd be wearing it.

It's all a personal preference. Many women now are wearing 36mm and 40mm watches. Some women still prefer the traditional women sized watches. It's really up to her.

Size question

I think it will fit her fine!
I love the classic size of the 34mm, its a unisex size and fits most wrists. My wrist measures a little over 6'7 at its smallest. Heres a shot of my 34mm OP Date, very comfortable to wear! It all comes to preference and style.

I think the 34mm fits just fine for women, even on a skinny wrist. I once did not care for 36mm+ watches on women, but as you can see that's changed 36mm on my left & 31mm on the right ;) My husband loves the 36 on me and is now saying that my 31 looks small to him
36mm is a fun more casual look to me. I think the 34mm would be even better!
Your wife will probably love the 34mm! It will make a great everyday watch. Not too big and not too small ;)

Thanks for all of the great feedback! Your picture is very helpful lunchnl. The 31 and 36 both look great. I am feeling much better about the 34 mil size now.

I've seen many of my female friends wearing larger sport rolex n they look gorgeous. 34 mm is not out of line. In fact many men also wear 34. U could also wear it from time to time. Why not?

This is the exact watch.....I kind of dig that it's a chronometer. I didn't realize any of the AirKings were.

Great point Sam! I think it's a perfect unisex size. I'll post some pics once her birthday gets here. The waiting is horrible.

Great women size would actually stay away from smaller sizes

My wife prefers bigger things......

I looked at some Cartier tank watches for my wife and ended up getting a great deal on a medium one and was afraid it would look too big. My fears were unfounded and it looks great one her. I think it is a matter of what you are used to but can change over time

Has she tried it on or seen it? I'd make sure of that before buying a watch that she may not like the look of, and will feel obliged to wear.

Great point as always Adam. The AD hasn't filled out any of the warranty information yet. I told him that it was a surprise. He said if she doesn't like it to just bring it back and they would credit me fully....as long as the stickers were in place. They've been very accommodating. I really hope she likes it!

So no worries then

34mm is a great size for a woman, my wife wears 33 or 34 all the time.

I bought an AirKing for myself but my wife started wearing it a few months after. It rarely leaves her wrist. I can't blame her. It looks great on her! She still wears her 26mm OP for more formal occasions though.

I would categorically reject 34mm as being considered 'unisex' for an average adult male but if your wrists are that small then go for it.

The lady In the Maui AD was sporting a polar Exp II and it looked great on her. I think 34mm would be fine.

Sounds like 34 mm is no problem at all for women....I guess it makes sense that women's watches have followed men's watches in growing in size over the years. I feel much better about my purchase now. Thanks for all the feedback folks. I'll post pics when I give it to her on April 24th.
