No price increase in US this February :(

Hello Guys,

for past few years Rolex, USA been increasing prices in February. I just spoke to Mike (seles adm guy Rolex, USA) and they have NO plans to do it this year.

It is kind of surprissing because cost of gold/plat is about $100 more than last year. I guess the sales are NOT that strong...

Another interesting thing I found out is that only 12% of all SS Daytonas are shipped to the US...:)

Well, it is always good for existing Rolex owners if price goes up but we will have to wait a bid longer... :)

Here in Canada we havent had a price increase since fall of 2004.

Also 12% of daytonas is about right for the US. When you think about how much of total production actually makes it to the US. IIRC Asia and Europe make up 60% of sales and then the rest of the world gets the rest.

That's good news. I heard from my local AD that it could be in May, now. Not sure how much water that statement holds.

Hey, welcome back and thanks for the update, bob!

Well, C.J., I guess you can go back to that AD and tell where to stick next month's "price increase".
