Where are you guys getting your vintage leather straps?

I know there are sources like Timetraveler/jedly, and Hodinkee. Are there other sources for vintage-style leather straps for vintage Rolex that you like?

we stopped doing them over a year ago , we only started as they were almost impossible to get outside italy and it drove me mad, by the time we finished there were more strap dealers than watch dealers

we send all enquiries to bulang & sons as they give the best service IMHO and bernhard is one of the nicest guys in the hobby.

I have purchased several straps from Peter at Gunny Straps and always been. Rey pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality. Worth checking out his web sit where you can view several dozen "Series" of straps in various leather materials.

Analog/Shift just started selling leather straps. US made and nice looking, but definitely pricey.

I just bought a few straps from this guy...some are a bit out there but they are well made and reasonably priced. I am very pleased with the quality and look.

He is in Vietnam, so they take a few weeks to arrive.

i just ordered one of these (it doesn't have all those steel keepers most nato bands do) and the leather looks excellent - chose the "Asa" rustic :

Mine is made from a Swedish ammo pouch. I like the contrast on my 6205.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! When I moved away from Panerai I stopped paying attention to custom strap makers. I will definitely check all of these places out. HAGWE!

I like Rios straps. Old company, old machinery, low enough prices that you can buy a few pieces, and free shipping. I have a couple in their vintage Oxford pilot range, and they usually have a sale on here: http://www.rios1931shop.com/

Another vote for Bulang and Sons

And also for Bas and Lokes (australia). The B&L suede straps are incredibly supple and comfortable.

The strap prices have risen also. Supply and demand. Just seeing what the next "in" thing to get will be.!

Stewart @ Heuerville has an excellent product and slightly thicker than your average vintage strap and I think it goes great with Subs/SDs. Also have had good experience with GLC, Bulang, Bas and Lokes.

Also - Drewstraps shouldn't be overlooked - aboen22 on Instagram - personal friend and excellent product.

Lots of choices!

Hey folks, figured I'd chime in just to let you know that very soon my side project "Club Patina" will be launching and we will carry a full line of handmade italian JPM leather straps. They are really awesome. I'll keep you all posted of course when we finally launch. Should be a couple of weeks. :)

My strap arrived this morning (a lot faster than I thought considering it was shipped from Europe) and i'm really happy with the quality being a very picky person.

I have a couple of straps from RoverHaven. Myron Erickson is a great guy, and very communicative.
And the straps themselves are absolutely top-notch!

And be sure to check out the customer galleries at the bottom of the page. Some great shots, and good ideas for combos.
