DFW Rolex scam on CL

Gang,

Obviously Dallas/Ft. Worth is a large Rolex market and every now and then a bargain will show up in CL for the trained eye. This one caught my eye for several reasons. Take a look and pray that some unsuspecting soul doesn't come along and take it in the 5 hole by this guy. I want to flag it but without actually seeing it live and verifying its fraudulence, that's not really fair. I guess it could be real but it would be the bargain of the century. I have an email conversation going with this guy to see if I can ferret out enough info to flag it without actually going to see it.

lemme be a little more direct with you. if you are not willing to let someone verify its authenticity then you are not going to sell the watch for 3K. its just not gonna happen. a real rolex day/date single quickset in 18k gold is a 10k to 12k watch even if its from the early eighties. a replica day date like the one you have shown can be bought for 300 dollars from a trusted replica dealer in about 100 places on the internet. check out a site called RWI.......its a replica watch forum that specializes in replica watches. some of the newest versions are stainless steel covered in gold and to the untrained eye look very authentic......but they cost about 300 bucks. what you are doing is a very slippery slope by advertising a rolex and pricing like it could be authentic. you are going to attract a seedy person who might not react favorably. just letting ya know the danger of what you are doing. on top of that, there are many vice operations going on out there that involve the police when they see ad's like this one.
