1980's Daytona real?
I know this is not a good picture, but it is the only one I have right now. A person I know who is always buying and selling collectibles just traded for these two watches. He has already sold the two-tone watch. I am interested in buying the Daytona if it is authentic. I have already told him that I am interested in the watch, but we would have to meet at the local AD to complete the deal. We are a couple hours from each other. I would like to know if anything looks obviously wrong in the picture. I do not want to waste a lot of time if you guys tell me it looks off just from the picture. Any information you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.

I appreciate your response, but do not understand the reference. What does "famous Day-date GMT replica" mean The picture is not a Day-date or a GMT. Thanks for your help!

That picture doesn't tell us much. Post some higher res pics and I'll give you my input.

From the small pic, the subdials appear to be day, date and month, common in lowest quality counterfeits.
