Incoming! 16660 Matte Dial Sea-Dweller
Just arrived back from ABC is this matte dial 16660 sea-dweller.
I got it a month ago and was blown away with the condition so thought it deserved a service and all I can say is WOW! This is my first sea-dweller and I truly think this will be one of my all time Grail watches. My only problem now is that it is too nice to wear... Any thoughts are appreciated, I think/hope I've done well :-) |

Beautiful. I'm considering having my untouched 1665 polished, but scared I won't want to wear it!!

As for thoughts - I hope you're not going to wear it in public like that; take the bloody plastic off! It's already decades old, dude

That's exactly why I like my vintage pieces "pre-loved" (not really caring if they're polished previously or not) - I actually am more carefree wearing them than I am with most of my modern pieces and that's why I enjoy them so much.
Either way - that's a beautiful triple 6 and I'd love to add one eventually to go alongside my early 16800 - please WEAR it in good health! BZ |

Beautiful. I just picked up a Triple 6, 8.3 serial serviced by ABC in the recent past. They do a great job.
Look for my photo post separately. |

Stunning piece! Great choice for your first SD. A '666' is definitely one of my favorite transitional models.
