Thoughts on 15300OR

What are you thoughts on the 15300OR black or white dial model? I prefer the black personally but looking more on feedback from owners or previous owners of this model.

Don't see many pics or comments of forum. Can it be dressed up and down or its too flashy? Seems resale price of a MINT one is in the same range as the SS 15202 Jumbo. Also which would you rather have, this vs a 15202 jumbo at the same price.

FYI. I also have a 5711 and a Rolex sports model in the collection but I like all my pieces to be versatile. I have some hesitation. Not sure if it's too dressy.

Black dial, I think it's an awesome looking piece. Very classy, and would make a great work or casual watch.

With a Rolex and a 5711 in the stable, I'd grab this over the jumbo.

On strap? Pass. Rather have 15202.

Full RG bracelet? Then easy choice. RG.

There is no full RG bracelet on 15300. Only 15202. Either way I feel that would be too much RG for me personally.

I like it. Takuya has one for sale. Your picture with the black strap is the way to go, the one FS looks weird with the brown strap. I think it would look great as a casual piece with jeans. Strap makes sense to me, it won't scratch and it won't be too heavy.

Thanks. Yeah I like it much better on the black strap also.

It's a beautiful watch, I have the RG ROC and the brush finish is superb, perfect match with a 5711, which is next on my list too.

It's a very nice piece. Never own it but saw it irl a few times. I think it can be dress up or down and the 39mm size is perfect.

White or black dial Ben? What is your favourite?

Looks great. I'd rather have the 15400r though because I do not like the AP logo at 12. Just my weird thoughts.

Some pics to help you decide!

Based on what you have in your collection already, RG would definitely be a nice addition. I would say the white dial with brown strap is more casual vs the black dial is more dressy. Now if you could put a black rubber strap on the black dial, that's a different story. Personally I looked at both for a long time and decided to go with a 26022 (chrono version), grey dial with rubber strap.

I love the JLC Perpetual 8 day in your picture! I have the same exact watch!

I also love your AP, it is stunning!

Thanks for the feedback. So you had the 15300OR and sold it or those are not your pics?

I absolutly loved it, but ended up wearing my steel 15400 most of the time, so sold it to fund a Diver. I had the White dial, but must admit i prefer the Black, which works better with the rosegold IMHO.

One more of my Pictures.

These are pics I have collected over the years , not my pics.

I own a 26022 personally
