Ever wondered what those friendly people in The Netherlands are saying in their melodious and beautiful language? Ever wanted to greet one of those great Dutchmen in his own language, e.g. a watch forum, say the one called TRF? Ever wanted to express true feelings of friendship in Dutch?

This is an answer to all those questions and more: How to learn Dutch in 10 easy lessons.

For lesson number one we will teach you 6 simple phrases that will help you along. For the correct pronunciation use the CD that came with these lessons.

Good morning - Wat ben je toch een geweldige kerel.
Good night - Je bent echt een aanwinst voor dit forum.
What watch do you have? - Ben je niet geweldig?
What time is it? - Wat zou dit forum zijn zonder jou?
How are you? – Je bent echt goed hè?
Tell me more about it - En nog knap ook.

Now the next step is to use these phrases in, for instance, a post on a forum. Say the one called TRF. Good luck!

Was helping my daughter with grade 7 French.
So, since Fireman is now Fireperson etc, I wonder what the French should be doing with the "La and Le" crap.
Is it still politically correct to have male & female words??

A man after my own heart!! But there is so much more, you want a useless class in college, take 6 semesters of the Hawaiian language. Now it means something to me and my heritage, but try using it on the street in Dallas.
