Need your opinions on this sale guys

Not exactly rolex related, but if this sale goes through, the proceeds will be intended for my Grail WG sub.

Bought the AP ROC black dial brand new in Sept 2014 for SGD 23,750. That's about USD 17,929 by today's exchange rate. It's a beautiful piece, but I realised I haven been wearing much in comparison to my blnr and lvc. Blnr gets most wrist time.

Have an offer from a potential buyer at SGD 20,500 which is about USD15,476. And I'll prob either top up for the balance for the WG sub, or sell the LVC for a 2 or 3 rolex collection.

Is this depreciation on the AP acceptable considering that the condition is still mint? Or shd I wait out for a better offer? Can't trade this at the dealers cos their price is even lower. Thanks guys

Assuming this is a stainless 26320, preowned prices on watchrecon and timezone are in the 15-16k USD range so this seems very reasonable for both you and the buyer.

Sounds like a fair offer but it doesn't hurt to ask for a little bit more.

Do it. It's a fair deal for both parties.
