Is my Rolex safe? (*BEWARE extreme usage*)
These are tool watches, not made to be babied, I rough mine around as they intended to be used.
HARDCORE BENCHPRESS? No problem, workhorse supporting my left wrist every rep: A crown whilst dumbbell curling to remind me who's the king of the garage gym: ....... .... I have a confession to make... the watch was so comfortable I forgot I still had it on when I got into the garage, I decided to take a couple of pictures (being extremely careful not to touch the case or bracelet on the metal objects). I quickly removed the timepiece and with both hands escorted it back into the house and quickly wrapped it up in a microfibre nest to ensure it picks up no scratches from laying on my bed

Laying on your bed is one of the most dangerous places it could be, that's how they end up in the washing machine.

Luckily noone was in to obliterate the timepiece whilst I was gone. The use of florescent cloths act as a deterrent to predators

LOL, i don't baby my Rolex's, and wear mine when i'm in a suit and when i'm in the shop milling, welding, or banging wrenches. That could explain why when I sent it in for a broken main spring (not my fault), they told me I must have banged the bezel enough that they couldn't pressure test it, so I have to buy a new one for $1100.
You're right about them being comfortable. Maybe too comfortable. Chris |
