FSOT: Rolex Submariner Ref: 16613 Gold / Steel with Box & Papers

First, thanks to the mods, members, and owners of this forum - I'm new here, and appreciate being allowed to post here. I have a fair amount of verification I'm posting below, in light of the fact that I'm new to this forum.

This is an early 90's example of the Two Tone 'Bluesy' Gold / Steel Submariner. Overall in great shape, with signs of wear as expected for a watch this age. I'm selling this to acquire a black dial Explorer II Ref. 216570, and will entertain trade offers for that watch, with cash added on my end for the right watch.

One aspect of the watch that is in better shape than expected is the near complete lack of stretch in the Oyster bracelet. As you can see in the photos, the bracelet has 'desk diving' wear marks, and on the '12 o'clock' side of the dial, the first gold link after the end link has a mark on it. Watch comes with 12 links in the Oyster bracelet (one of those links is not installed, but included in the box.)

Two small scratches on the bezel, in the vicinity of 7 and 8 markers.

Watch runs really well - just under +2 sec / day. (as measured against atomic time on the 'Watchville' iPhone App). Unknown service history.

Contains original box, warranty papers, anchor, and credit card receipt dated from 1993. I also had an AD verify authenticity and give me an appraisal for insurance purposes, which I am including here.

I have 7 years worth of positive feedback under the username 'urbanamish99' on a firearms discussion board, which you can peruse here http://cl.ly/awep I'm happy to verify by PM that that thread is referencing me.

Also, I have 100% positive feedback on eBay as 'urbanamish99', which you can reference here http://cl.ly/awHH Feel free to message me on eBay to confirm, if you'd like.

(Mods - If you prefer I don't link to those other sites, let me know and I'll revise, thanks)

Price is $6,200 OBO or Trade for black dial Explorer II Rev. 216570.

I'll provide a full refund (less shipping and insurance) if, after a 3 day examination period you find that I have misrepresented the watch in any way.

Paypal preferred - I will pay the fee, in light of the fact that I am new around here. My email is [email protected], and my phone number is 610.804.6931. Feel free to call, email, or text.

I'm not a dealer, just a hobbyist who has discovered a love for Rolex watches.
