O dear walked into the AD and ?????
Guys can't stand it any longer. Sorted out a few things as you know, went to a car boot sale (or Car trunk/garage type sale for our US friends) got enough for a deposit. Popped into Mappin & Webb and came out with something on 9 months interest free with a biggish deposit laid down but not enough to cause financial issues.
So what did i get. Well I gave this some extra careful thought. After all, I've had a lot of the sport models. my criteria was as follows. 1) I wanted something within a certain budget i had laid down 2) I did want to get from an AD, new if possible 3) I wanted an iconic timeless Rolex watch 4) I wanted all the newish features RRR on rehaut SEL bracelet. 5) Wanted something so comfortable that I could wear all day without fiddling or having to re-adjust so to speak. 6) Thought back to my teenage years, and the watch that first caught my eye in the Rolex lineup and began the love affair. The one watch that caused me to think of buying a Rolex, when I went into an AD for the very first time. 7) Something I had done for many years and that was purchasing other brands that looked like this Rolex, and probably if I'd been patient, could of bought five Rolex's for the amount I spent on what I call "homage watches" So what did I get... Enjoy the photo's.

Nice one Jon. Better to get the one you really want, rather then spending 50% on second best!
