David is straight-up people. As far as the bezel is concerned, if you are saying simply that 'would you or I put that bezel on one of our watches????'....I would not. I always want my watches to look as good as possible, even if that means a re-dial. However, there are MANY VINTAGE collectors out there that ONLY want their watches cleaned, oiled, and gaskets/tubes replaced. They want their watches to be as ORIGINAL as possible, dings, scratches, and worn out inserts etc. I for one am not one of the "keep it as ugly as possible crowd". AND, from what I have seen on this forum, so far, no one else seems to be either. Wishing you all the BEST for the weekend and coming week! Sincerely, Stan. |
