Should I buy Pelagos new or pre-owned?
If pre-owned, is the warranty transferable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

+1 on this. Wait for the in-house movement in the black or the blue to hit the shelves. New or used? I like new things, so I recommend new.

Wait for a pre-owned new in-house movement version. Buying new is never worth the extra cash.

Wait for pre-owned. I bought a Tudor Black Bay new a few years back and it lost half of its value when I went to sell.

definitely pre-owned. If you ever decide to sell you will not loose very much...and yes, the warranty is transferable.

Obviously it's up to you, but it will be pre-owned less than a week after you purchase it.

Buy one as new pre-owned when the new model is released.
If you can't wait buy pre-owned now and flip for the in-house model

Much like with my 111, I'm going to go against the crowd here and say buy used and now. New in house movement is great, but if servicing costs are even a remote thought, you might want to consider an older one with easily obtained parts. In house means a smaller pool of available parts.
Plus there is always the possibility of it becoming collectible due to the non in house movement. ;p |

If you think you'll eventually flip it then I would go pre-owned. If you think it's a watch that you'll keep and eventually pass down, then I would buy new.

I would buy used and now as well. Personally I don't like the 4 lines of text of the new in-house one.

Either way, wait until the new version comes out. ADs are selling the old one at used prices, and that way you can choose between the two.
