Sub after DeepSea: Opinions Wanted

So I was at my AD over the weekend ans I have had in itch and a half to get a Sub. I am currently wearing a SDDS, and love it, but tried on a Hulk and Bluesy and want both!

So my first question is for those who own both a DeepSea and a Sub. Do you find the weight of the DeepSea is such that you don't like going back to your Sub?

Second question is my wife and I bought my father a bluesy for his 60th, 5 years ago. Do you think it would be weird to own the same watch as your father? I guess that's more a personal preference but was looking to see if anyone has the same situation out there.
