Are TT Rolexes an old man's watch?

I really am on the fence about the TT Bluesy. The blue dial just might be the most incredible sunburst color Rolex has in the lineup. I've typically only been a Stainless fan, so unfortunately that means the Bluesy is only available in TT or full 18K.

I am 30, so this question is really geared for any TT owners/fans under the age 40. Are TT Rolexes passe these days, or is there still a demand?

TT and gold are for old guys... one of those silly Rolex myths.

Me want! But I'm pushing the 40 envelope. But I wanted it at 30 if that counts.

Are you serious ? If you like it buy it. I bought this 18 years ago when I was 30 and still wear it regularly.

I got two TT DJs when I was in my 50's (which is the new 40's). I never thought of them as an "old man's watch." I wore them when I first got them and still wear them, especially when I put on a suit nowadays.

I'm an old man, this is my TT and I love it. Does that make it "an old man's watch"? Not necessarily.......it just makes it this old man's watch.

Most just don't like them...I happen to think they look great. A BIG plus for two tone is that it doesn't turn anyone off the way all gold might/could. That being said I love all gold. Good luck!

First and foremost everyone has different taste, so there's no right or wrong. With that said, just like different opinions, there are so many different watches with different configurations.

IMO, a 36mm TT Jubilee band DJ, with a champagne dial and stick markers is about is 'Mature' looking as it gets.

However, the TT Bluesy Sub mentioned in the OP great looking for all ages. Just my opinion but it's hard to put a blanket label on all TT watches.

Then again, i'm 34 and I haven't described something as "dope" since 10th grade. So maybe I'm aging faster than TT style.

I remember seeing a lot of TT in the 1980s. My uncle had a Datejust and it was a TT. I think TT popularity will come back in a decade or even sooner.

Im 35, been rocking tt gmt for a month now. I have had a president dd since I'm 32. Never felt too young or akward wearing either. If you like it you gotta get it especially if you can swing it. I do want a nice stainless oyster though so i can have something i feel is real durable and knock around worthy.

I voted wrong. I said "no" meaning to Two tone is not for old men. Poll Question ask if two-tone is popular, to which I would vote "yes."

Depends on model

TT Datejust = possibly

TT Submariner = wanted a blue dial but with less expense/more durability

TT Daytona = impatient

They are old man watches. If your getting TT SubC/GMT2C it's a little bit cooler, but the rest especially DJ look like an old mans watch

I'm 36 and I love rocking this guy. I'm in favor of wearing whatever you enjoy with respect to watches, clothing, etc.

I am 35 and would have no problem wearing a TT piece. That being said I think full gold or SS is a more contemporary look.
