A. Lange & Sohne Cabaret

Hi, is anyone here familiar with the Lange & Sohne Cabaret watches? In particular, I'm interested in learning more about the history of them, some of the production numbers, and if they are a good value in terms of current ownership.

This link contains pics of a nice example of one...

Candidly not a very popular reference but have to say that Plat Darth looks pretty cool so if I were to get one it would be that one! Can't speak to rest of history or numbers only that given low demand expect poor value retention.

Don't know numbers either, but I recently checked out a rose gold with moonphase cabaret, and really liked it. The platinum with black dial is amazing as well

Looks great if you like the style. Personally, I'm going tank if I'm going there

I like that Lange used a movement shape that matches the case, actually very rare for rectagular watches of the other high end brands.

Not really – Glashutte Original did the same for their Karree, and Seiko have done likewise for some of their Credor models.
Parmigiani Fleurier is another one, and JLC's Reverso is bound to be the same, as well.

Not a popular piece and thus no longer in production. They can be had for a relatively fair price compared to other Langes.
