rolex oversize models

Well I was offered a fairly rare manual wind oversize Rolex today, it needs a new crystal service and crown, the watch was skipping like 5 seconds in row but functioning, the case had knicks from improper opening, the dial had a light even spotting but the lugs were in good condition its 37mm which looks rather attractive on the wrist. And priced at $2500, it needs around $1000 in work. Do these really sell for 6-10k in good condition it's a model 4364 with unique spider lugs. No pics unfortunately, I'm just nervous about spending this money and not seeing the return in the end

Unless you love the model and want to own it, you should probably not invest in this type of piece and expect big gains on resale. These are typically slow movers, and hard to sell over $5000 if not absolutely perfect. Yours sounds pretty average, probably more like $4500 once fixed up.

Yeah, the crown was missing the bottom half of the circle as well, it was a good deal, but I want a cleaner example when i'm ready. It was pretty average, down the line i'd love to own one, the size was quite large compared to my 6426. Had good weight to it as well

Have you considered a 6424? These are 36mm, very nice size for a manual wind...

Watch is not all that rare and is not thought of as being really collectible myself would not even think about it even if it was in perfect condition.
