Some of you might remember a Kickstarter campaign about a month ago for the Grilltimer watch--there was a piece on Hodinkee about it (http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/the-gri...little-griddle). Mine just came Friday. It looks great, and I get a little smirk on my face every time I look at it.

Some may seek a grail watch. I, on the other hand, have a grill watch.

That looks like a fun watch. I actually use my Tudor BB's rotating bezel as a timer when I am grilling outdoors.

I like it in a tongue in cheek way. I'm certain 90% of sub bezels are used this way more often than diving.

Tho the hiur hand is too short.

I think not many realize the price for this watch. For $40, its totally worth it even for fun.

the idea is fun even if I don't think it's very reliable, all depends on the thickness of what you're cooking, so….

It reminds me of Zane Lamprey's Pleepleus DRINKMASTER watch...

He's had a couple of drinking shows on various cable channels and markets his own swag, Pleepleus was his drinking mascot stuffed monkey. He now sells his own booze (Monkey Rum) but his watch was cool in a completely childish non-practical way.
