Looking to do a good deed
My father in law has always been a watch guy, but would never personally pull the trigger on something more than a thousand bucks or so. I currently have a Chronomat evolution and DSSD, both of which, he loves.
Father's Day just past, and it got me thinking.... What is out there that is somewhat affordable used, is a great timepiece, and something he'll love that shares the look of my watches? The answer I think could be a Breitling Steelfish. No? My Local AD just got a blue one in and I am tempted to pull the trigger. It comes with a bracelet which I plan on removing because the weight would be too substantial for him and, plus, he has always been a strap guy. What are your thoughts? I prefer sticking with breitling as it is a brand he will instantly recognize, plus more affordable for me in comparison to rolex, which is his dream watch. Am I considering to right one? |
