How crazy would someone be if...
...If they wanted to sell off their AP Diver for a BLNR?

Price different aside, I do not even feel like they are the same genre of watch.

Sounds like downgrading for me, but to each his own.

Don't neccessarily agree, but also depends on what else is in the lineup.
Personally prefer a BLNR over a Diver. But prefer a RO over a BLNR. Neither is an upgrade or downgrade in either case IMO. Both excellent watches and reputable brands. Do it if it's what you want. |

Nothing wrong with it at all. Price aside, many prefer the BLNR over the Diver.

There's no logic in wanting a change..just go with your heart and try to get the best price for the one you're selling. Blnr is super special.

Both are cool watches...change can be good
I've owned both and sold both... Would consider buying both again - Diver would be first for me, with those two options. |

This watch world is crazy and sometimes trading or selling something in the rule might not make any sense but the feel and the heart tells you otherwise, been there before, I traded my 15400 for a JLC Deepsea Chrono and some cash and in the books it might be a crazy trade but its been almost 2 years and I don't regret it one bit, I wasn't feeling the AP so time to move on.
Good luck |

Two very different watches and this decision also depends on what is already in your collection. If you already have a ROO, if the Diver is a little big on your wrist, or if you find a GMT function useful, then getting a BLNR sounds very reasonable to me. If you do it and eventually find you miss the Diver, you can always get one again.

Daft as a brush....but then again, not everything in life has to be done with sensibility in mind.
So if you feel like being daft, just do so – you can always revert to being sensible again, later. |

Depends on the reasoning... I wouldn't, even though I really like the BLNR.

I own a GMT IIc and love it, but if I didn't there is no way I'd consider giving up my Diver to get one. However if you like the BLNR more go for it, just make sure you get enough cash to make up the difference in value.

Not crazy, two very different watches though. I prefer the Diver. The BLNR is a great watch though.

After wearing my SubC for about 2 years and recently acquiring a Diver its all on preference. They both wear well but its a different experience for each. Follow your heart like most are saying but also make sure you get the best deal in the end. Ultimately since you are asking I would say keep the Diver since I just got mine and Im on the honeymoon phase of just getting it heheh. Good Luck
