Wasn't expecting that..

I mentioned that my new OP wasn't keeping great time. It was well outside of the expected tolerances so I decided to get it regulated as it would bug me. I dropped it into the service centre in Kent today. Glad I did, as it turns out it isn't just a case of regulating it. It has something loose in the mechanism. As loose screw, as the service document describes it!

As it's so new they promised to have it looked at quickly, fixed, serviced and regulated....

Still, means the Sub's got a little wrist space for a while again!

I feel like there was a bad batch of 3130s recently. My OP needed a full overhaul in the first month and new mainspring, there have been others on here and more than one subC with 3130 with similar issue. Good news, since I got it back, it has been gaining less than 2 secs per day.

Glad you are getting taken care of; too bad that it needed.

Wow that OP is a great looking watch.
Looks like it's running almost 3 hours fast! Good thing you got it into service when you did

That OP looks sweet. Hope you're reunited with it ASAP.

The Sub makes a great wrist warmer in the meantime though!
