Here is a mod done by Duarte at NEWW. I was never really crazy about the hands & bezel insert on my SKX-175 so after hearing about Duarte on the forum I contacted him. I asked him to change the dial, bezel insert, hands, chapter ring & crystal from seikos hardlex to sapphire.

Here are the before & after pics. I couldn't be more pleased & I highly recommend Duarte at NEWW he did a great job. Actually this is what I hope Tudor will reissue as their submariner..

Thought I'd give the Seiko a total overhaul by adding a Hadley Roma rubber strap. I think it adds a nice touch.
