New member here. Long-time lurker, first time posting. I’m ready to pull the trigger on my very first AP (daily I'm sporting an IWC Yacht Club and on occasion I rock my JLC Master Calendar). I have an awesome feeling it won't be the last :)

I’ve got a milestone birthday coming up towards the end of the month and I’m finally ready to move forward with a purchase.

For those who have walked the road I’m about to travel, I’m kindly asking for some direction. If you could PM me what I should be looking for from a grey market, trusted seller, I will forever be grateful. Chrono24 is listing prices anywhere from $41K-$54K with retail pricing at $55K.

Welcome to the forum.

Speak to DavidSW, he will be completely candid with you on realistic pricing. chrono24 is rarely a good guide to real world pricing.

Why not just look at past prices on the sales forum? It'll give you a good starting point for your conversations with sellers.

If retail is $55K you should be looking at $38-43K.

I think an AD can move a decent amount on a piece like this as well. I've sent you one to work with and he's helped out a ton of people on here.

I would contact Swiss Fine Timing as well, ask for Daniel he took great care of me for my 26401.OR PM me if you want

Great choice for a 1st AP. What color dial are you looking for ? I might have a lead for you if its a white dial.
