Here's the story. It's a doozie..........
this watch was left to me by my older brother I was told if I ever needed the money to sell it he passed away two years ago I know we had the watch more than 5 years.he way more wealthier than I ever was... The watch is not working I took it in they said about $250-450 to fix it they did tell me absolutely it was real I did not get it fixed I put it back in the drawer and its been sitting there for over 2 years trying to find a new home for it and somebody that will enjoy it like he did..... One more thing I would buy a new band for... This is one amazing watch for the price... Oh I was told that this watch was given away for the flag bearer of the Daytona 500 so you have to be somebody famous to get this watch and I'm not going to say his name.... Take a good look this watch is probably worth 15,000....... One more thing is the jewelry store that I took it to get fixed offered me $4000 on the spot for it.. What a scumbag offered me 4k grand for a $15,000 watch |

My email to him. This outta light a fire for sure.......
Sorry to hear about your brothers death, But he must have been a real jack arse for letting you believe he left you a real Rolex to sell in case you ever got into money troubles. What you have there my friend is one of the most copied fake Rolex's in the history of fakes. Your auction has bee reported to eBay and they will be pulling your auction if you don't do it first. Your story is pitiful and the watch is worse. Do yourself a favor and end this auction while you still have a shred of dignity. |

This guy has replied to my email at least 8 times calling me names and demanding that I send him pictures of a fake one to prove his isn't a fake. Makes sense to me.......NOT. He's irate and has a death certificate and everything.....
It will take me a while to copy and paste everything for you guys to get a chuckle at. In the mean time, please report this hunk of swine dung and send him a nice email alerting him that more than one person is on to his scam. |

I think I'll send him a message that I also have a 24 hour winner watch from New York for $100 and I'd like to buy one for my brother and ask if he'll sell it for $100.

I bought that same style watch on the streets of New York for about $50 about 10 years ago. It kept great time for about 2 weeks before I threw it in the garbage can where it belongs. Its to bad that there is always someone out there wanting to take advantage of someone else.....At any cost!

Have you guys read his revised description of the watch? I think something is wrong with this guy in not a good way. Sorta feel sorry for him as I truly think he thinks he's got a real rolex. If he comes back with an appraisal from a jewelry store, then I will revert back to being angry at him because that will be proof he's a scammer. Right now I think we just have a guy who's delusional.

I got a civil response to my first email (which was extra gentle because an established seller is not normally a scammer). He asked me to prove it was fake and I just directed him to check with a real Rolex dealer. Mysteriously, the auction ended a few hours later "due to an error in the listing."
Any way, it's gone. |
