+ One Tough Mother... +
The Sub, not me (of course).
I'm turning 45 this year and not getting any younger. Trying to keep up with the kids in this "Tough Mudder" race. 5.5 hours of 16km hilly terrain, 30 degree heat, 20+ obstacles including barb wire, freezing water, mud, gravel, electric shocks, tear gas and whatever else those crazy bastards could think of. Not gonna lie, I was pretty dead at the end of it. My legs were toast and my knees were shot. At least I got a free beer and t-shirt at the end. My trusty 14060 Sub of 16 years kept going, and kept me going. We made it! Now hopefully we can put those silly "Is it safe...?" questions to bed. Passing the freezing water test. 'I gonna feel this in the morning...' Cleaned up and good to go. Thanks for looking! |

I'll see if the wife has some developed pics to scan, or my brother has something he can link.. All I remember Rob is being hosed down after riding in the back of my brothers SUV wrapped up in a blue tarp! That was after already being dunked at the event. (Sydney).

Awesome job man!! I finished a Spartan Ultra Beast and thats what ultimately led me to choose my DJ. Good to know that they can take a beating and keep running like nothing happened.

But is it safe for me to use at Starbucks? I mean the coffee there has steam coming out for it after all.

The Rolex can handle mostly anything, it's the body that needs work.
