GMT Master 2
I need your help guys. I was in my AD yesterday and he offered me a GMT Master 2 16713 for a good price. Only thing is it appears that the bracelet on the watch has been changed. I don't recall a GMT with the Sub clasp and divers extension.. Am I missing something? Did Rolex ever do this or is it a Franken Watch?

I have an identical TT GMT 2 and that has the extension and clasp the same, they are slightly earlier models to when they changed the clasp to "thru gold" . I bought mine as a used model 14 years ago, a wonderful watch, my first Rolex and I have wanted one since I was about 20 years old, eventually bought it when I hit 40 !

Yes I would agree there slightly earlier models. Of course because of that it devalues your watch just a little bit however it still a beautiful and gorgeous watch enjoyed in good health

@madmax21 Why would it devalue the watch? If it truly came from Rolex that way wouldn't it be a bit rarer than the later models?

I have a 16710 (W s/n) with the Sub clasp and divers extension. I purchased it brand new from an AD.

No reason to be concerned (and it doesn't devalue anything)
The GMT was available with either the regular Oyster, the Oyster with extension, or the Jubilee bracelet (your choice) for many decades..

All checks out. The Dover extension was to be used over a flight suit.
