How to Clean & Band size

Some questions for the experts

How do you clean the exterior of your watch? Do you polish the gold yourself or take it in? Is there a store bought solution that you use?

I like to wear my watches a little loose. Would a loose band increase the stretch chances? Or, would a tight one? Or, am I nuts... I have a TT Sub.

As always, Thanks!

I use SoftScrub, a toothbrush and warm water for my SD. I open up the extension on the clasp, scrub it, rinse it and dry it thoroughly with a soft towel. If you do this once a week, you won't get much build-up in the bracelet links. Just make sure the crown is screwed down snugly before you immerse it in water. As for the gold, I don't gold requires polishing, as it doesn't corrode. And, I wear my bracelet snug, but not too tight. If it is hot out, I use the SD tool to loosen it a notch.

As mentioned above... mild soap, water, and a soft toothbrush do wonders. Keeping your bracelet snug will help keep it from stretching.
