Search the TRF Owners Thread here ----> (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=275634). I'm sure there is one or two owners that have posted theirs.

My father has the WG DD II with blacked-out dial. I could probably get a good wrist shot next time I see him.

It's hard to depict, but this black-dial DJ2 has a non-glossy, matte-like finish to the dial. It's a cool watch and I enjoy wearing it. Hope this is helpful.

Sorry, just noticed that you are looking for DD pics. Thus, my watch below is probably 'not' what you are looking for, lol. Hopefully, someone will respond.

Here you go. Not my photos (Patrick Belgium and Fremstar - I think). Been on my radar for some time now. This one is going to be my next incoming!

PerioBear, In those pictures the dial looks matte black. Do you know if that's the case and if it would be the same in rose gold? Thanks.

The dial color is matte black or charcoal. Sorry, but not the best photo with the plastics on.
Sorry, but I've only seen this dial with YG, WG and platinum. I've never seen the rose gold version in person. I assume it must look stunning! |

I think the rose gold one had this dial in brown. They called it the chocolate wave dial if I'm not mistaken.

Good looking watch. I like a higher degree of legibility, but that looks really good.

Didn't even know this exist! Love it. Fluted bezel would be a grand slam though IMO.

Yah, the degree of legibility is what held me back from pulling the trigger in the past. However, now that it has been retired from the Rolex line I've had no choice but to hunt one down! |
