Thoughts on this 1680?

Sorry if this isn't appropriate, but I couldn't find a better place to post this. I am vetting this watch and wanted to know if you guys could tell me your thoughts on it? The purchase year was 1978 and the serial is in the 5mm range. The price seems pretty reasonable for what I have seen these go for. Thanks all!

Closer pics needed. Back of watch? What about the bracelet clasp showing the date code? Like the poster before said...better pics?

1978 should have "open" 6's on the date wheel, shouldn't it?

It is strange but the 6 in 26 is closed, 6, 9, 16 , 19 and 29 open.

Well, since you brought it up, it appears to be an early 1970s wheel. Later 1970s date wheels were silver, at least based on the rules of "best evidence" and what I have garnered and stored in my lower cerebellum the past couple of decades.

Seriously, regarding this watch, several guys have pretty much nailed it already...some nice, detailed photos would help before anything of consequence could be provided regarding the condition of this watch.
