End Links Question
What is the difference between 580 and 501B end links?
I have a 78360 bracelet with 580 end links which rattle a bit when on the wrist. The spec for my watch, a 1016 says I can use either so would 501B make any difference? Thanks DV |

501s are later than 580s.
Usually the only difference in end links on various Oysters is the way it is bent to match the case thickness and the case contour for either 40 or 36mm cases.. 501 and 580 are both for 40mm cases and in most instances are interchangeable.

The 501Bs can be used on watches without lugholes, they have a slit in them for compressing the spring bar. The fitting to the case should be identical.

Thank you both.
Question answered. I'll stick with the 580's and ignore the rattle. DV |

You can bend/adjust their feet a bit, see if that helps.
