JLC MUT Perpetual in steel

I saw this a couple days ago in a local boutique and it haven't stopped thinking about it.

Thoughts?

Lovely JLC for sure. Great value too!

Best value on a perpetual out there for sure! I've seriously thought about getting it but the dial leaves me a tad underwhelmed.

I agree that it's the "most perpetual for you money". Great watch from a great company.

The dial is a little plain. In looking for a classic watch, though, they mostly seem to be a tad underwhelming. That's been the challenge for me.

There is no denying the great value with a perpetual calendar in SS from JLC, but I'm no fan. I don't like the year indicator, it is a real eye sore IMO, and why does JLC use an ebauche from IWC? That is no way for "the watchmaker's watchmaker" to behave.

It's actually a Kurt Klauss module that IWC uses too.

It's a very nice watch, especially the white gold version with the gained dial and nickeled indices. I don't love the ultra-thin case with a perpetual though.

My understanding is that it is a Kurt Klaus PC module fitted to a JLC movement. IWC happens to use the same module.

Great value and great watch, but a bit busy in my eyes. I really love the MUT 39 Moon however.

I like it a lot. My AD has a pre owned one in stock that I recently tried on, and it was very nice

i recently acquired this......had to move 2 pieces in the collection plus some $.

Classic design with several complications that does not dominate the dial. Also like the subtle color accents. Appolgies for the poor quality of the photo.

That's the Master Calendar. Great watch - congratulations! 👍

I have a JLC perpetual in steel, 37mm. Love it and great value for the money, although I'm going to sell/trade mine.

Very nice. There's an AP perpetual on TRF imo looks better than this for the same price I'm assuming you should check it out.
