my 1st tudor....
Today, Ive got my 1st tudor ever... i sold my SDc4000 and got this piece as a replacement... I'm happy with the purchase... actually i don't think its a downgrade.. I'm happier with this piece... i love the caseback and case is flat... the way it hugs my wrist.. as with the SD the caseback is a bit bulky.. and the watch tend to sit high in my wrist and move/wobble as i move....
i love the dial and matte bezel of black bay... the SDc4000 is lovely but i find it too shiny.... its gorgeous when the bezel turns grey... but other than that i find it too shiny... plus the BB is cheaper... bang of the buck... I'm inlove.... |

The versatility of this watch makes it a fantastic side step from the SD - I have been lucky enough to grow my collection over the past few months and my Black Bay sees the most wrist time of them all. It is beyond perfect for my needs. Congratulations!!

I think OP was talking about the light being reflected off the bezel on certain angles so that it makes it look "silverish black" - is what my wife tells me.
The only times I've been able to catch it is on someone else's wrist and it is truly breathtaking. |

Great watch. You will definitely enjoy. Over the last month I've been wearing my Black Bay Black predominately over all my other watches. Kind of messed up the rotation.

I flipped my dssd for a BB and couple other Tudors. Best decision ever. I do miss the date some times.
Now that said I may end up with a SD4k at some point. Maybe a 16600?? Congrats and you will love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats on finally finding a watch you are happy with. Your pictures of the BB are really good. The lighting makes the watch really pop

Congrats !!! Looks very nice !!!
Thinking about the same move with the new Black Bay black, it wouldn't be my first Tudor, but it would be my First New Generation one. Quote:
I have heard that before... how does it compare to vintage ones ? Quote:
Well, I might sell my 16600 if I go this route ! ;-)

Congrats! I agree the BB is a comfortable piece to wear. I dig the look but it is the way it wears that sold me. Enjoy
