Why no AR coating ?

Does anyone know if the rumor that Rolex may start rolling out crystals with underside AR coating is for real?

I'm in the market for a Explorer and was at an AD looking at one. Really surprising glare from the store's lights. I asked if he knew anything about forthcoming use of AR coatings and he, of course, knew nothing.

Any solid evidence of this change coming???

ADs know nothing of the changes in advance. They know just as much as we do here which is: Nothing.
