Clasp unclipping on 15300
Is there a way to tighten the clasp? The "AP" side on the butterfly clasp unclips easily if i don´t press it down additionaly when i close it.
I see two screws on the clasp mid section. What is their function? Watch is F-series 15300ST.

AP can definitely tighten it but IMO, the AP insignia clasp on the 15300 and my watch (25860) although awesome look at, is it's one design flaw. They definitely improved on it with the 15400 and new ROC butterfly style deployants. The two screws hold in the tiny piece of sliding metal that locks the two sides of the bracelets together. There is a very tiny spring in there as well that gives the metal piece some give. Good luck!

Check with your AD. I had a similar problem and they replaced the entire butterfly deployment on my 15202 with their newer I-model versions without the screws.
I had the same loose clasp feeling right before a lever unscrewed itself off. So tighten it up and keep an eye on it. I called in my issue and thr AD had me come in for the new deployment within the week. |
