I would not bid on that to be honest. Little feedback- crap photos no boxes or original papers etc. It doesn't really matter what he says- pictures speak a thousand words as they say

Which one?

Which one? The titanium 177 in the official Panerai website photos or the steel 111 in the super low resolution photos.

I surely wouldn't bid!

Let me say that great pics also mean crap. They are stolen often and having a pic, good or not, means little. If you think you may bid, ask him to shoot a photo on your email requesting such or a newspaper. Those are stock photos by the way.

Based on 100% feedback, years of business and perfect pics I "purchased" a Panny 233. Got a piece of crap that was a fake TAG. Wasn't even gracious enough to send me a fake Panerai. Screw eBay. I hate them, they were not helpful at all in overcoming the scam. They care about fees only and nothing else. Do yourself a favor, open the window and throw the money into the air -- same thing as doing business on scambay but faster.

WHAT?!?!?! You got a fake TAG after buying the 233 from ebay?! Gee I understand your feeling! F those conmen really!

As for that auction, that seller did not even stated WHICH MODEL it is. Most PANERAI sellers will state the model # and not just PANERAI or MARINA LUMINOR.

I saw someone won that watch and good luck to him.

Let's check the seller's feedback in 1-2 weeks time after his buyer gets the watch!

yeah...I wondered the same thing...also the numbers became amazingly more chunky, and the seconds hand cramped up against the 10 o'clock marker.

I would report this guy....and definitely NOT bid

tell the seller that you will buy it but to meet you at a panerai dealer to complete the transaction. Then you will find out if it's real...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that you can no longer leave negative feedback on eBay. If this is the case, then I'll be doing no more business there.

Thanks for the clarification, Steve. Yep, that's ridiculous.
