Like Father/Like Son........

Meant to post this awhile back. My 16 y.o. surprised me with "Dad, I think I would like a nice watch for Xmas". Was kind of surprised as he has shown very little interest in any of my watches. So we went a shopping and tried on a bunch of different watches........and in the end he picked this one......Seiko Prospex Solar Diver/Chrono. Not a bad starter if I say so myself.
Our Father/Son photo with my BLNR and his new Seiko.

He knows at some point he is getting my 1999 A-serial GMT Master II Pepsi...his birth year.

Really cool. I hope that my son starts getting interested soon. Thanks for sharing.

That's awesome! I gave my son his first watch, Swatch sistem51, for his birthday last year and it hasn't left his wrist since.

The Prospex line is great and I like the look of that model. Awesome birth year watch he's getting down the line!

It's great to share an interest with your son. Mine has expensive taste though...

My son is only 7 Months old, I still have some time.

Great pics. My kids both love my watches. I bought my daughter an automatic Swiss watch, chandler by burney (don't know much about them). My son had a sieko automatic but broke it within a couple of days of having it. He's 7 so we have some time before he gets a good watch.
