Spare Bezel Screw and Nut for 15300
Hi RF members,
I recently purchased a used 15300 from another member, and unfortunately after my purchase one of the screwnut behind is stuck when trying to unscrew it, but it tightens when needed. I sent it for servicing with a known third party , but they're insisting it's normal. Is there someone here who knows or is able to help me source for a genuine spare screw/nut set? Not able to go to APSC. Would really appreciate your feedback.. this has been bugging me for days On the bezel screw, it's not sitting flush compared to the other screws. |

It's actually different screws from front to back. They are not tightened against each other. Send it in for repair.

I agree. When you consider the cost of these timepieces, why trust a third party inexperienced in servicing these watches? Perhaps, they damaged your screw and bezel when they had it.

So...what do you think?
Clearly the 3rd party isn't familiar enough with AP and/or does not have/use the proper tools. Even if the screws were in place, AP would know a 3rd party opened it up. Don't think you're concerned about warranty - but you just want it to be properly attended to... I'd send it to AP ASAP and get it sorted. You sort of buy in to the AP service - IMO - when you obtain a RO. As others have said, too nice a watch to trust to a 3rd party. |
