Tudor Prince Oysterdate

Hi All,

I've come across this Tudor Prince Oysterdate in the UK (apologies for the poor pics). I've requested more from the seller, as well as the serial number and model number from between the lugs.

I'm a bit mythed by the Tudor rose on the 12hr marker. I've done a bit of googling and these are supposed to be mid 1960s and a "rare" dial. A lot of stuff that comes up on the google images are from the "replicawatchforum" so it's just sending some alarm bells.

Can anyone shed any light on this with the tudor rose on the 12hr marker. Looks like the hands have been replaced. Anyone else spot anything with this. Seller is requesting £850 (no box and no papers). Just wanted an opinion on price and if it is over inflated as the seller has been told this is a "rare" dial.

All your help is much appreciated!

Thanks again,

Dan

Thie dial is not particularly rare or desirable. Hands are replacements and the watch is worth about half the asking price, maybe a bit less, IMO.
