Unload 425 or 557 for 233 Please advise
I currently own two base Panerai 425 and 557. I want to add a 233 for its complications and date. I need to unload either the 425 or 557 to fund for the 233. The problem is I like them equally and I can't make up my mind. I am set for the 233 so I'll end up with 1 base and 1 complication to my PAM collection. If you guys have time please give me your 2 cents and help me justify what piece to let go and keep. Thanks again TRF.

I'd keep the 425 - SLC and gold hands is a sweet combo and a greater contrast with the 233. If you want a destro later, add a Bettarini destro for a great range of PAMs.

Sell the 557. The 233 will cover your Luminor and the 425, Radiomir. The 425 has a lot of vintage going for it while the 233 is a modern symbol of OP

If it was me, I'd keep the 557. I'm a fan of the crown guard as well as the numbers.

Hard decision, but I'd personally keep the 557.

I would keep the 557 and 425 and hold off on the 233.
The clutter of the date and PR meter in the 233 are going to compound the impact of moving from 47 to 44mm. I have a 320, 372 and 425 and the 320 gets the least wrist time because it feels 'small' and cluttered. How about sell the 557 to fund a 217? |
