Miami Fail
Hey Guys,
Was just in Miami and escaped the massive blizzard in NYC but ran into a total nightmare weekend. I was there with my brother and friends from London celebrating a 33rd bday. Long story short ended up at E11evins... yeah yeah the strip club I know good idea!! But NO not so great an idea. Some how after the night ended I only remember paying the bar tab and walking out. The next thing I know the sun is baking down on me and I'm in a blazer and linen pants walking aimlessly trying to figure out where I am and how to get back. I have no phones, wallet or Rolex! So needless to say some one that day was having a blast with my DJII black Roman Numerals and 9 O'clock indicator and all the plastics in the wallet. They prob ditched the phones just so I couldn't call for help or cut the cards off too soon. I would like to put this out there for anyone that doesn't want bad juju look out for serial #X74403F1 its a stolen watch :( After realizing I'm not physically injured I walk and find a tram that then leads to a good vantage point of the city and find a bus that lets me walk on without fair money. I get back to Miami Beach and my hotel room to sleep off this crazy night. Hope posting this helps anyone who has had this happen and as I know now it is a common occurrence in or around the club E11evins (11's) so I'd recommend a swatch or Omega Cheers, Philip Harper |

Sorry to hear that but on a bright note you've got a great story to tell or maybe even a movie deal.

Would have loved to but the Miami Dade county police aren't very helpful and said it wasn't possible to make a report because I didn't know the exact 'when and where' of the robbery. ehh guess it really happens too often to even write up!

Same thing happened to two people I know on a business trip in a major city in Russia. They decide to go to a club... two very attractive women sit with them, they buy drinks. Next thing they know, one of them wakes up by the side of some road, sans pants, wallet, phone. The other one somewhere else, still had his pants but no wallet or phone. Luckily they were still alive. Also they did not take their passports with them.
Their first mistake was thinking these hot women were interested in them. 2nd mistake was letting their drinks get out of their control. Sorry that you got robbed. Could have been worse. Hopefully insurance will help cover your loss. |

If a woman buys you drinks, she has a motive that doesn't involve fun for you.

Been to E11EVEN more than I care to admit mostly to entertain clients. Never had a problem there nor heard of such a thing; You wallet, phone, and watch? How did you pay the tab without your wallet?
It's clear where the robbery happened. You paid your tab before walking out and then poof, they're all gone. Hope you didn't leave yet so you can still file a police report. Quote:

It always amazes me how simple it is for most women, and especially good looking ones, to manipulate men. Not necessarily in a bad way, as I am certain my wife provides "nudges" to me frequently to me, in ways that I appreciate.
But sometimes in very bad ways. We men, so predictable. |

In my previous post on this thread, I actually felt sorry for you until I read a thread you started back in 2011, and I quote
Dated 2011 "Hey guys wanted to know some tips on trying to find a lost/stolen watch. I was skiing the this past weekend and after a night out lost my watch in Chamonix France. I retraced all my steeps and so far nothing? I asked the police and have emailed the villages watch and jewelery shops too look out for my Cartier Santos 100. Is there anything else I should could do? I am back in New York so can't keep an eye on the local wrists over there. Thanks, Philip" Seems to be a pattern developing here with you buddy...Let me put it like this...and I say this with utmost respect...are you some sort of dumb-ass

Blackout drinking. When you're like this people can just walk right upto you on the street and take your watch off your wrist, phone/wallet out your pocket etc and you just let them, no need for any violence at least. If you get this drunk then this will keep happening.

I am sorry for what happened to you and I am glad you are safe ... but how is it Miami's fail? More like you were reckless. If it is the second time it happens to you ... maybe it is time to look inwards? Hate to sound like this you know, but maybe next time you won't be so lucky. Gotta be careful my friend.
