Exit watch (Panerai)
372 for me and that's all I need. yes 372 is that good of a Panerai.
I literally stop buying Panerai since I got my 372. I sold off my 000, 312, 328, 305, 88 and 561. Best regards, James |

Same here, I sold off numerous Panerai...and with the 372, I don't really have a wanting for any other Panerai.

If the goal is one watch per brand, then the 372 is a fine choice. Otherwise, I can't see how one PAM is enough. There are too many great options.

I exited Panerai some time ago when the marketing and reliance on LE and hard to get watches drove the market. Yesterday I bought a Panerai 287, a watch that I had previously owned and liked. So I am back in. It helps that I have 18 straps already that fit the watch so I am going to enjoy and see how it goes. If anyone questions Panerai's slide for collectors go to Paneresti.com and look at the number of posts in the different sections and look at where the watches, like the 127, have lost huge amounts of value. I hope the brand starts to get back to it's roots.

That is funny. Just by reading the title of this post and without reading the thread, I was already thinking 372. 44mm 372 for me that is... if they ever make one.

Wish it wasn't plexi.. So at that size my choice would be 422.

Personally I find the plexiglass 372 much lighter than 422. OEM strap on 372 26/26mm with a light watch (head) makes the 372 exceptionally light for such a large watch hence makes the watch very comfortable on the wrist, of cos, the short lugs helps too if you have a smaller wrist. 372 wears similar size to AP ROO 44mm
