I'm afraid I might be becoming a Rolex snob...

After having my 114060 Sub for 2 weeks now, I am still in love. Every time I look at I smile and I never want it to leave my wrist.

That being said, I do have a few other watches (mainly Japanese divers, dress watches, etc) and I simply don't like wearing them anymore. I don't want to become a "one watch" kind of guy but I just don't get the same feeling when I'm not wearing my Rolex.

Geeze, even saying "my Rolex" makes me feel happy, am I simply still in the honeymoon phase with my new Sub or am I ruined for life?

You're ruined for life just like the rest of us.

Why wear anything else when you have the best? After my 114060 sub I bought a new white Daytona and now I'm finished. I'm perfectly content with my two watch collection

Simply wear the Sub and sell everything else. Never take it off and be that guy with a classic watch that has dings and scratches that all tell a story.

Nothing to be afraid of, embrace the snobbery, haha....Just don't convey that impression to others!

Panerai is my mistress and I sneak off with them too. They are awesome.

Then there are those than have PP / AP and VC. All are worthy of wrist time too.

I can relate. I've had "my Rolex" for about 9 months and I will very occasionally wear one of my other watches. They never make it past lunch. I will run home and swap it out. The one thing I really notice is how cheap the clasps seem in my non-Rolex watches.

I owned other watches, nothing even close in price to a Rolex. Once I got my first Rolex I sold the others to help finance my second Rolex. There are other good watches out there but mine weren't getting any wrist time.

Perfectly normal...once you have a good watch on your wrist, others just don't cut it.

Sigh.

It's a great watch.

But it's a watch. Nothing to be a snob about.

I know I won't make friends from this comment, but these types of comments make me enjoy my omega and jaeger watches that much more.

I wore my Omega for a day, (12hrs), last week. Nice watch. I should sell it. I wanted my BLNR on the whole time... Damn Rolex are like a virus.... I know I will keep my Omega though. It really is a nice watch.

Depends on why you only want to wear the Rolex...the answer will tell you if you're a snob or not.
