Platona legibility not a factor

After a week with my Platona, I've decided the poor legibility of this watch is balance by the beauty of its dial!

Who looks at the time anyway. Most of the time i look at my watch to look at the watch itself!

where are you having issues? i'd have to disagree, that's a clean dial and you have lume markers throughout... i'd love to have this watch, it's amazing and a real stunner. as an example my chocolate face daytona sucks because only lume on 3/6/9 and it's a tiny dot.

that YM2 although clean dial has too much writing/numbers and i think that would be really hard to read as well.

worst face ever IMHO is the 116518 MOP with roman numerals.... how can anyone read that watch after 7pm? lol

Looks great! FWIW, I don't have any legibility problems, though.

Although a stunning piece I'd have a easier time justifying lack of legibility on a SS version vs PM. For that kind of investment it damn well better be easy to ready as well.

Exactly. That piece costs a lot of coin. Better be happy with it and reading the time on it!!

"Platona legibility not a factor"…it certainly isn't for me. I will never be able to afford one!

How do you explain this one then? A bit much to wear, but stunning to look at. It would definitely be tough to tell the time in the sun. They had one at the Rolex boutique.

agreed.

imop, its more s statement than a timing tool; and thats the market it satisfies and should only concern itself with satisfying.

Unlike everyone else I agree with the OP. Just looking at the pictures I find the hands get lost in the other 3 dials! Just my 2 cents! Still what an amazing watch. One can only hope to own a PM like that one day. Congrats!

Yeah, no. Rebel_1, you've got a big problem.

If the you find the watch hard to read, then no amount of justification is going to stop it from picking at the back of your mind every time you put it on.

Sell the watch. Or, maybe try for the diamond baton dial, perhaps that will be work better.

No matter how much other platona owners love their watch, you have trouble reading yours. That's not going to work for you.
