DavidSW & (unrelated) leather strap

Just bought my first Rolex. First high-end watch of any kind actually, wore a victorinox chrono the past 10 years that served me quite well. I labored over the decision for months as to which watch to buy, from air king, to sub nd, to sub date, omegas, etc. Eventually decided on the explorer I 14270. Purchased from DavidSW. Very smooth transaction, placed order yesterday and it was delivered today in NJ via fedex. Watch is a beauty.

On a side note. Was thinking of putting it on a black leather strap. Anyone recommend a good vendor/brand for a strap for a 36mm explorer I?

Thanks!

Congrats on the exp! Good choice buying from David. I bought my first roles from him as well. Can't say I know any good strap makers but I'm sure someone will chime in with ideas.

Pm will be sent shortly for my strap guy. His straps are great and the prices are fantastic. I own a gaggle of them.

Congrats! I just got my 114270 about a month ago. After a service from Vanessa, it's running +0.2 sec/day. Really a fantastic reference. Please post pics if you get a strap.

Congrats on the explorer! The Colareb Venezia strap is a great value for the cost and quite comfortable.
