Thoughts on this 6263 Daytona guys -

Hi All -

Just flickin through E-Bay (as you do....) came accross this listing for a 6263 Daytona in the U.K - I dont know much about these - so posting here will help get some background knowledge

One comment - While I can't vouch for whether the watch is good or not, this seller has put in the extra efforts in setting his name as the background of the pictures and that is commendable.

As far as i can see its not a daytona but a cosmograph which was in production before the daytona. With all the replacements etc i have n idea of what the real value would be

Looks good to me - I would arrange inspection as the seller willingly suggests.

Its a bit out of my pocket - but the 'value' is the interesting thing to me - as I would of expected this to be mega money - not opened at such a low start concidering.......

Yeah I agree but maybe because of all the modern replacements that are not original parts then that seriously affects the value to collectors. I do not know but that is what i would presume. Collectors definitely prefer all original parts.
