Red secondhand + date wheel = win.

BTW: I thought only 1, 3, 5, 7, .... 27, 29 were red - not 28.

Nope, it's from a 40mm YM. DJ have the same dial size as the 40mm Rolex's.

I have tried that but the DayDate movement is thicker than than a DJ movement so it will not fits in a DJ case.
Maybe if you grind a bit inside the case but I haven't do that yet.
