BTW: I thought only 1, 3, 5, 7, .... 27, 29 were red - not 28.

This may be an all Red Date Wheel,Not a Roulette Wheel.

I think you've designed a model we'd all like to own.
Start sourcing the dials, wheels and handsets buddy...
This could revive many old all-steel DJs around the globe!
I'd dub it the "D.J.ocke"

It's a all red datewheel from a Turnograph.

Nope, it's from a 40mm YM. DJ have the same dial size as the 40mm Rolex's.

I have tried that but the DayDate movement is thicker than than a DJ movement so it will not fits in a DJ case.
Maybe if you grind a bit inside the case but I haven't do that yet.
