Atmos clock trouble - help!

Hi all,

Some of you may have seen my incoming but unfortunately the clock has a serious issue. It stops every time at 5.53, the seller is claiming possible damage in transportation.

The pendulum continues to turn but the hands don't move. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Otherwise I guess I will need to send into JLC which could be expensive?

I really love the clock but this is turning into hell now as the seller has already stated he won't offer me a refund as it is not his fault.

I am gutted.

Take it to a JLC AD

They should be able to advise you on what the problem might be. It could be something very simple.

Pack it carefully when you transport it!

I think I have fixed the issue - the hour hand was hitting '6' on the dial.

Yep, that would do it.

I just bent the hour hand slightly so it misses the numbers - looks to have done the trick! Cheers all.

Great it was a quick fix. Just be careful when you pull on and off the top frame and when you set the time.
Alwys stop the watch with the lever when you are doing something with it and make sure the balance wheel
is at the end just when it change direction when you stop the watch.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Thanks Jocke - I am hoping it continues working as there really is not much of a gap between the hour hand and the number.

This is a very sensitive clock and need lots of patience!

I've heard they can be quite fragile, happy to hear it was an easy fix
