It takes brass to wear bronze!
. . . Or, you could just wear both.
Thought I'd share a Brass Armida on custom double horn-back strap with Samurai buckle, and a Visconti Cruise (numbered as one of only 299 made, and the only solid Bronze watch with a full-length Bronze bracelet). Interestingly, the Bronze is an "aluminum bronze", giving it better durability -- or so they say. All I know is that the color is unlike anything else I've ever seen. It's a deep, rich greenish mocha that changes in sunlight like no other finish. And the brass Armida has tuned a dappled reddish brown. I could easily distinguish MY two, from a stack of same models. And that's what's so special about brass and bronze, IMHO. |
